A meal kit is a DIY recipe box that contains a chef designed recipe and all the pre-portioned ingredients that go with it. The idea is to make cooking hassle free and waste free for you. So you no longer have to run around finding ingredients to make your favourite dishes. 

At Kook, our intent is to expose you to new dishes that you might not have cooked before but that will surely appeal to your palette. The idea is to help you discover some new cuisines and at the same time give a modern spin to regular dishes. Our menu has veg and non-veg variations of a variety of manicourse, appetizers and desserts spread across different cuisines. 

We release a fresh menu containing new recipes every month. While our menu keeps getting updated, there are some crowd pleasers and bestsellers that are always on the menu.

Every recipe box has the pre-portioned / semi prepped ingredients and a detailed recipe card. All ingredients barring some pantry essentials are included in your meal kit. All you need to do is follow the recipe and put up a perfect meal.

We send you all the main ingredients needed for the dish barring some standard pantry ingredients that are readily available in your pantry. These include milk, butter, ghee, oil etc. Most people have brand preferences for these products and hence we thought it is better if we keep it that way. 

We understand that food is very personal and that one might have specific preferences. In case you like a dish but are allergic to / do not like specific ingredients, feel free to mention in the comments section while placing your order. While we do not assure a swap, we will try our best to accommodate your preferences. 

While most of our dishes can be cooked in under 20 minutes, there are some that require a bit more time and may need upto 30-45 mins to be ready. In general, all our dishes and kits have a cooking time mentioned on them.

We try to source all our ingredients as close to the farms as possible. As we grow, our goal is to source locally harvested fresh foods directly from the farms and while we may not be able to do that to the best of our ability, we currently ensure we are procuring only freshly harvested ingredients as close as possible to the source. 

Upon receiving the box, it is recommended to immediately refrigerate it and prepare the dish within 24 hours. However, the refrigerated box can last for 48 hours easily. We do however strongly recommend you cook the dish on the same day as receiving it. 

Most of our meal kits serve 2 people comfortably. Some kits serve 4 people and the serving size is mentioned against all dishes. In case you’re looking at serving more people you can simple order 2 units of the recipe. We’re also developing some meal kits for larger groups. Stay tuned for those!  

We are a service that started during a pandemic and that has helped us evolve into a safe, trustworthy and reliable facility. We keep limited staff in our kitchen who undergo daily temperature checks. All our employees wear facemasks at all times and are required to frequently wash their hands, wear clean gloves and cover their hair with hair nets before handling any food. All our procured ingredients are also washed thoroughly before being processed. Maintaining the safety and quality of our product and ensuring our customers’ well being is our absolute priority and we wouldn’t put it at risk under any circumstance.

We deliver on all 7 days and are currently servicing all parts of Delhi NCR. We are soon expanding to major metros in India and the rollout should happen over the next 3 months.

For all orders that are placed before 10 pm on a particular day, the delivery can happen the next day. We usually deliver between 11:00 AM-6:00 PM and the preferred slot and delivery date can be selected at the time of checkout.

Yes, we do accept COD as a payment option. However, in the interest of your safety and that of our delivery partners, we strongly recommend that you keep all deliveries and orders contactless, for which you can choose from a variety of online payment options.
